Supported by our world-class facility and renowned technical capabilities, our researchers and technicians innovate on a daily basis to create more fuel-efficient vehicles, lighter aircraft, safer packaging solutions, and other high-tech aluminium applications for tomorrow.

As a member of Constellium’s R&D team, your mission will be to research, develop and create products and processes that meet the demanding specifications of our clients. These will have applications at the leading edge of industries including aerospace, transportation, automotive, and packaging.

R&D responsibilities

  •  
    In product development, you will work with physical metallurgy, mechanics of materials, corrosions, new aluminium alloys and hybrid solutions, and material characterisation and testing.
  •  
    In process development, you will find innovations in melting, casting and recycling, rolling, finishing, extrusions, forming and joining, as well as perform process modelling and numerical simulations.
  •  
    Present on sites, you will meet with engineers to ensure the industrialisation process meets our customers’ exacting standards.
  •  
    Engaging with customers, research scientists and academics around the world as well as our own technical networks, you will generate ideas and share best practices.
  •  
    Leading or working in teams of diverse experts, you will efficiently and competently run projects to time and budget with tangible outcomes.
