COFRAC renews the accreditation for the Voreppe Research Center

Cofrac (Comité Français d’Accrédition) has just renewed two certificates for the Voreppe Research Center to perform testing on metallic materials.

The Cofrac accreditation certifies the competence and the impartiality of our laboratories and confirms this recognition at the international level.

The two areas covered by the accreditation are the measurement of chemical composition of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and mechanical testing.

Cofrac, (Comité Français d'Accréditation) is an essential link in the laboratory accreditation process. The organisation, created in 1994 by the government, is intended to promote within Europe the recognition of tests performed by the accredited entities. The accreditation became an essentiel element in demonstrating outstanding management of our laboratories that carry out mechanical testing and chemical analyses on metallic materials.
