Constellium participating at ICAA-13
23 May 2012
Constellium will participate in the 13th International Conference on Aluminum Alloys (ICAA-13) taking place in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA) from June 3rd - June 7th, 2012.
ICAA is a global and major scientific conference gathering experts sharing their knowledge on the structure and properties of aluminum materials and covering the following scientific topics:
The science of aluminum alloy design for a range of market applications,
The accurate prediction of material properties,
Novel aluminum products and processes,
Emerging developments in recycling and applications using both monolithic and multi-material solutions.
About Constellium’s participation
Constellium will be represented at ICAA-13 by six researchers from its leading R&D center located in Voreppe (France) dedicated to aluminum alloys and their applications:
Jean-Christophe Ehrström, senior scientist who will be giving a keynote presentation entitled "Fracture Mechanisms in Al-Cu-Li Alloys” during the “Fatigue and Fracture Toughness” symposium;
Christophe Sigli, senior scientist, member of the ICAA-13 international committee, who will give a presentation on Al3Li precipitation kinetics;
Armelle Daniélou, Christine Hénon, T. Dorin giving presentations on AIRWARE fatigue, corrosion and microstructure evolution,
Gilles Guiglionda presenting a poster on formability of 6xxx alloy for automotive application.
