Constellium participating to the Aerospace Conference “Les Entretiens de Toulouse”
Constellium will participate to the 5th Aerospace Conference “Les Entretiens de Toulouse – Rencontres Aérospatiales” taking place in Toulouse (France) on April 17-18th.
About “Les Entretiens de Toulouse – Rencontres Aérospatiales”
“Les Entretiens de Toulouse – Rencontres Aérospatiales” are both an innovative scientific training and a major aerospace networking event initiated by the Air & Space Academy (Académie de l’Air et de l’Espace). Those conferences gather aerospace industrials and researchers and aim at facilitating scientific and technical knowledge sharing while creating and maintaining the links between small and medium enterprises, big companies and R&D centers.
The 5th edition of “Les Entretiens de Toulouse – Rencontres Aérospatiales” is organized jointly with the French Polytechnic College (Collège Polytechnique), and will take place on April 17-18th at the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace in Toulouse, France.
About Constellium’s participation
Constellium will be represented by Julien Laye, Research Engineer in Friction Stir Welding of aluminium, who will be holding a session on "Friction Stir Welding Assembly for Aluminium Structures” at 2.00 pm on April 17th in the frame of the “Materials” discussions.
Julien will be highlighting the advantages of Friction Stir Welding, an advanced process that enables cost reduction and efficient material usage which can lead to considerable performance improvements. He will present the Constellium’s AIRWARETM technology to illustrate those advantages.
