Reliability Planner

Job Summary

• The role of the maintenance scheduler is to provide a schedule that represents the most efficient and cost effective use of resources and time for execution of planned work. This includes scheduling the high priority jobs at the right time and right detail. The scheduler will utilize, adhere to and demonstrate conformance to the defined Work Management processes to drive improved reliability of the equipment and facility.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Scheduler is responsible for developing the weekly schedules based on the Ready to Schedule backlog, utilizing the available man-hours.  

• Schedules are prepared 3-4 weeks ahead
• Work Order Priority Matrix will be utilized to schedule the right work at the right time
• Responsible to level and schedule the PM backlog to aid in successful compliance by the APU Maintenance team
• Responsible for tracking KPI performance 
• Lead the weekly scheduling meeting to set the following weeks schedule with Maintenance and Operations
• Manage the overall backlog
• Schedule the priority jobs based on the work priority matrix
• Manage outage scheduling and lead outage evaluations/post outage reviews to improve planning, execution, and startup

Leadership Competencies / Technical Skills Requirement 

• Associates degree in a technical field and 5 years of planning experience in an industrial setting is preferred
• Experience with electrical/mechanical machine repair
• Experience in a manufacturing facility
• Ability to work in a team environment that includes crafts, supervisors, engineers and management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
• CMMS experience, SAP experience is a plus
