Job Summary: The Contractor Coordinator is primarily responsible for the auditing of the contractor management program from cradle to grave. This includes verification of the requisitioning process, bidding and assignment of work, execution to site practices, EHS compliance and contract adherence, completion of supporting documentation and closing of contracts. Reporting of statistical data and compliance is a critical deliverable, as well as maintaining a visible presence in performance of work activities.
Responsibilities
- 50% or greater of time will be spent in the field in performance of accountabilities
- Remove potential roadblocks to work performance at all levels
- Monitor and audit the execution of work to align with site best practices,
- Supporting the process of assigning and realigning work appropriately to skilled contractors
- Ensure the proper completion of supporting documentation
- Supporting Procurement as needed with the closing and completion of contracted work
- Creating, gathering, and disseminating reports of statistical data as it pertains to the completion of contracted work
- Reporting on compliance and escalating issues as they arise
- Review of requisitions and supporting development of scope of work documents
- Reviewing planned work schedules to determine needs to align contractor support
- Supporting the bidding process and evaluating bids
- Generate resource forecasts for outages and routine work, debottleneck and de-risk as required
- Facilitate regular meetings with operations and maintenance teams
- Occasional work outside of normal business hours will be expected
- Communicate status of all external work efforts to leadership
- Constructability reviewer for planning and execution of work efforts
Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree in business administration/management or maintenance OR
- 8 Years comparable maintenance/construction/contractor experience with proven track record
- Strong interpersonal skill, and the ability to communicate effectively in verbal or written formats
- Strong time management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Coordination experience, scheduling, planning and communications
- Microsoft Project, Excel, Word proficiency required – HIGHLY SKILLED
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience required (SAP preferred)
- Exceptional team working skills
