This position has the primary responsibility for the processing of vendor invoices/employee expense reports and issuing payments with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining positive relationships with Constellium’s vendors both internal and external.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Sort, code and match invoices against invoice receipts in ERP system (Plex)
  • Enter and process invoices into the system and set invoices up for payment
  • Review and verify invoices/check requests for proper approval process
  • Track expense and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process ACH, wire and check payments
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions against vendor statement and aging reports
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Process 1099 payments to meet yearly deadline
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits

 

Skill Requirements

 

  • 3 - 5 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Extended knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Extended knowledge in Plex or relevant accounting software
  • Extended experience in the purchase to pay process
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative, transparency, ethical conduct and result orientation
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to work without daily supervision
  • Meeting deadlines and able to work under pressure
