Being an important pillar of Constellium’ s Central IT department, the Enterprise Application group provides business support, transformation and growth by setting up and supporting business applications in the scope of Global ERP and other applications, in all the main business domains (Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Treasury).

The group is split into Functional and Service Operations teams – with the Functional team being the face for key functional domains and the Service Operations team being in charge of ensuring support and management of the current environments – and a Delivery team for the lead of strategic projects.
 

Primary Purpose

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ariba Expert to join our team and play a key role in enhancing our procurement and supply chain capabilities. With their knowledge on business processes and data flows, IT Consultant- Ariba and SAP Purchasing Expert acts as a link between business processes and systems and liaises closely with Sales, SCM and Logistics domain experts, as well as the business and 3rd party suppliers. The new colleague will work closely with business users to understand the current business process in the mentioned areas to bring about improvement in the Business processes by leveraging his strong domain knowledge and familiarity with the SAP Product suite. The new colleague will also be needed to contribute in project execution as functional lead of the area, delivering pre-study and implementing new solutions across the organization. 

As an Ariba Expert, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Ariba platform & promote further extension in different business units, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA using SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). Your expertise in Ariba implementation, support and SAP purchasing expertise will be instrumental in driving procurement efficiency and excellence. Another part of this roles is managing the operational changes raised by business, challenging them and proposing solutions to improve business process. Global area of action. (US, Europe and Asia).
 

Key Responsibilities

•    Configure and customize Ariba modules to align with business processes and objectives.
•    Provide subject matter expertise in SAP purchasing processes and integration with Ariba.
•    Work closely with the Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain business to study the business process and suggest improvements.
•    Participate as Ariba and SAP Purchasing expert in Transformational implementation and support projects.
•    Suggest & Implement best Practices in this domain which brings value to business.
•    Ensure data consistency and accuracy by leveraging SAP MDG for Ariba integration.
•    Lead workshops/discussions with Business and external parties and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•    Provide inputs to create long term application roadmaps and plans in this domain to achieve customer business objectives.
•    Work with External/Internal auditors to conduct regular SOX, system audits and performance evaluations to maintain system health.
•    Validate/Verify solution designs and effort estimate in Projects as well as change requests.
•    Identify problems, trigger Root Cause Analysis and validate corrective actions.
•    Ensure seamless integration between domain functions, Operations and 3rd party suppliers.
•    Provide training to business users to fill any knowledge gaps.
•    Providing support and mentoring to juniors within the team.
 

Experience

•    Bachelor’s Degree required in Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree in Technology or Business Administration a plus. 

•    Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 8 years in Ariba implementation, support in an international IT environment.
•    Very Strong knowledge of Ariba and SAP MM (Purchasing) and MDG. Knowledge of any other modules like SD, PP, PM, QM modules is a plus

•    Strong understanding of Supply chain and Logistics processes including SOX and in managing respective applications.

•    Should have executed at least one ARIBA implementation project with hands on expertise in configuring and customizing Ariba modules.
•    Experience working with ARIBA- S4HANA interface projects with SAP MDG is highly desirable.
•    Strong understanding of SAP Methodologies, solutions and best practices in this domain.
•    Ariba certification is preferred but not required.
•    Proactive, open minded and flexible personality with experience in working on a matrix environment. Strong communicator.
