Production Operator

Primary Purpose 

Production Operator will ensure the production of the internal or external customers’ demands according to the EHS, People Contribution, Quality, Delivery, Production Control, and Equipment Efficiency standards.

Key Accountabilities 

• Load and unload machines (CNC, Weld Cell, Assembly, Press, and Saw) with raw material and WIP for operation and store in proper place in plant
• Perform all necessary pre-start tasks necessary to run daily production. Tasks may include: operator & poke yoke daily check sheets, visual inspection of oil levels, air pressure checks and tooling
• Report all safety, maintenance, engineering, quality, and logistic issues to supervisor or process engineer immediately
• Clean production operation and work area daily/weekly and support Constellium’s world-class lean manufacturing environment
• Actively perform hourly part checks, follow Red Bin procedures, and report non-conformities to supervisor or shift quality representative immediately
• All other duties assigned by the supervision and necessary to perform the job

Required Competencies, Experience, and Technical Skills 

• Must have High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of 3 months' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Follow TS 16949 requirements
• Perform duties according to ISO 14001 procedures and environmental
• Required to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Adhere to all applicable EHS processes while performing job duties in Constellium manufacturing facility
