  • Forming

Getting the best formability from aluminium alloys requires a set of complementary skills: choosing the right alloy with the best balance of strength and ductility, knowing how to design parts that take maximum advantage of these characteristics, and devising appropriate tooling.Using our knowledge of physical and mechanical metallurgy and the properties of semi-finished and finished products, we can identify the most suitable alloy for any forming process and its ability to tolerate the stamp. But we can also help optimize part shapes and/or tool designs to get the most out of these products.

  • Joining

Our team has the skills and technology required for the assembly of aluminium alloys and can perform trials using other metals as well. C-TEC has pioneered assembly technologies in welding (arc, resistance, and friction-stir welding), brazing, adhesive bonding, and mechanical assembly. Our technicians and engineers are experts in surface preparation, adjustment of welding parameters, choice of wire, and predicting mechanical performance.

  • Surface Treatment

Surface treatments can change the state or properties of a metal’s surface for improvements such as better adhesion of a coating, hardness and abrasion resistance, optical properties, decoration, or protection from corrosion. Choosing the right treatment requires knowledge of the fundamental properties of different aluminium alloys. We can perform every kind of surface treatment on site: degreasing, mechanical texturing, chemical, lacquering, and anodizing.
