Three Constellium employees have recently been appointed to important and influential positions across the aluminium industry.

In July 2021, Ingrid Jörg, President of our Aerospace and Transportation Business Unit, was appointed Chair of European Aluminium for a two-year term, representing more than 85 members in 30 European countries, covering primary and secondary production as well as semi-fabrication. She said, “As a material with permanent properties, aluminium will be critical for Europe's recovery and transition to a low-carbon and circular economy…I will continue to push for a more ambitious sustainability approach and the necessary framework conditions for our industry to recover and grow."

In October, 2021, Buddy Stemple, Chief Executive Officer at Constellium Rolled Products in Ravenswood, was confirmed for a two-year term as Chair of the Aluminum Association, the industry's leading voice in Washington, DC. He said, “There are two specific areas where the association is playing a key role. First, in developing the body of research and communicating the industry’s incredible sustainability story…And second, in helping create a fair and level playing field for domestic aluminum companies in the global market."

Vital Beauvois, Key Account Manager in our Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products team, was appointed Chair of Every Can Counts. A European program in 19 countries, its mission is to inspire and encourage people to recycle their drink cans wherever they are. "I am delighted to join this program and to relaunch it after the COVID-19 period," he said. "Let's #KeepTheCycleGoing by always putting your metal packaging in the right bin!"
