Constellium’s customers include the world’s leading armored vehicle manufacturers, spanning North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Under long-term partnership agreements, we provide a full range of high-performance aluminium products and solutions for military vehicles to clients such as BAE Land & Armaments in North America. We also supply armored vehicle materials to other leading designers and manufacturers, including Oshkosh and General Dynamics in the US; Nexter Systems and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann in Europe.

Winning the battle with our defense offer

Constellium has partnered with defense customers for many years, continuously developing new solutions for armored vehicles and for the upgrade of in-service equipment.

Best-in-class blast performance and superior armor piercing capabilities have resulted in Constellium’s Keikor® 2139 being chosen for one of the world’s most advanced fighting vehicles.

Keikor® 2139, our world-class solution for integral hull applications, will play a key role in the new Combat Vehicle Prototype (CVP) platform being developed by TARDEC, the US Army Tank Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center. Under the agreement, Keikor® 2139, produced in our Ravenswood plant, will be supplied to TARDEC for its entire CVP integrated hull capsule. Keikor® 2139 was previously selected for the successful CAMEL (Concept for Advanced Military Explosion-Mitigating Land) program.

The CVP contract builds on our proven track record and confirms our reputation as a leading partner for aluminium armored vehicle solutions.
