Constellium is the world leader in aluminium closure sheets. Our state-of-the-art production facility in Singen, Germany, uses the latest technology and equipment to supply optimum-quality closure stock to a global customer base.

We provide aluminium sheets for closures in the wine and spirits, mineral waters, and olive oils markets among other applications.

Aluminium screw caps are a growing trend in the wine market, and a virtuous alternative to cork stoppers in terms of taste integrity, sustainability, design options, convenience and economic advantages. Constellium is well positioned in this growing market.

Thanks to a unique rolling technology, Constellium produces aluminium sheets perfectly suited to extremely deep drawn and decorated closures, such as the 30 x 60 mm specifications used in the wine and spirits market.

Our MV3 pre-treatment, based on a phosphate-titanium compound, guarantees optimal lacquer adhesion, while our DOS (dioctyl sebacate) lubrication process ensures that sheets will not scratch when handled.

We offer a full range of textures and degrees of brightness, permitting customers to showcase their bottles to full effect.

Constellium has launched Aeral™, a new state-of-the-art aluminium solution for the production of aerosol containers. It uses the drawn and ironed (D&I) technology we employ to produce beverage cans.

Aeral™ allows for 30% in weight savings as compared to traditional impact extruded containers, while maintaining the same level of performance in terms of ductility and resistance to pressure. This weight reduction dramatically reduces the environmental footprint of aerosol containers.
