Job Summary: The Senior Consolidation Analyst, within the Corporate Consolidation and Internal Control Team, can be based out of our Baltimore office as a remote position or Paris as a hybrid position. This position plays a key role in the reporting cycle for their assigned division in adherence with the monthly, quarterly and full-year requirements. We’re seeking a proactive and collaborative professional that will work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate monthly closings, which include consolidation and reporting of the consolidated accounts under GAAP within an HFM environment.
- Prepare the P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow statement analyses that explain the Group financial position and provide them to the Group Controller and the Group CFO
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Constellium’s financial data
- Support the business and reporting units on accounting and reporting topics and you coordinate with the other departments (Technical accounting, Tax, Treasury, External Reporting, FP&A). You may have to travel to sites and HQ as necessary.
- Lead and monitor corporate accounting processes to produce the financial statements and you drive the continuous improvement of our financial closing, consolidation and reporting processes and tools.
- Liaise with our external auditors at each quarter end
Qualifications
- Master’s/Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4-6 total years of professional experience required, ideally as an auditor in Big 4 Public Accounting; experience in a corporate consolidation function is a valued addition
- Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret complex data and concepts including financial statements
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills who can work in project mode
- Capable to support the accounting positions and judgments to our management and to our external auditors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of a market leading Consolidation System (i.e HFM or BFC) is a plus
- Demonstrates a high level of accountability, energy, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Constellium considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
