Dahenfeld, Neckarsulm, Germany - Aluminium Manufacturing Plant | Constellium

Constellium Dahenfeld is a state-of-the-art production facility which produces customized aluminum automotive structural components and assemblies for OEMs in Europe.

Opened in 1998, Dahenfeld delivered aluminum structural parts for the first midsized series of the Audi A2. The plant was subsequently expanded with manufacturing capacity tripled and process applications expanded to support several customers. Located in the heart of the automotive industry in Germany, the plant works closely with our OEM customers and suppliers to ensure our products meet precise performance specifications.

Singen, Gottmadingen, and Dahenfeld sites have jointly committed to a 10% Greenhouse Gas emissions intensity reduction from 2015 to 2020. We expect this target, which addresses both direct and indirect emissions, to be met thanks to our energy efficiency improvement program at each site.

In october 2020, our Automotive Structures operations in Gottmadingen and Dahenfeld, Germany have received the Aluminium Stewardship Initiatives' (ASI) Performance Certificate which covers critical issues for the entire aluminium value chain including greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, material stewardship, biodiversity and human rights.
