Constellium’s goal is simply to be the most profitable and exciting company in the aluminium industry. In order to achieve it, we offer high value-added products and services to our customers, focus on key markets, and achieve operational excellence, while remaining best-in-class in environment, health, and safety.

As part of the strategy team, you will be supporting Constellium to design a path to growth and profitability amidst competition and constant change. Or you might be part of the strategy team for our business units, where you will gain specialized knowledge of the aerospace, automotive, or packaging business. In either case, you will closely follow any new developments in our industry to guarantee the long-term success of Constellium.

Get to know Jack Guo, VP, Business Development and Strategy

What do you like most about working for Constellium?

Dynamic. Constellium is a global company with highly talented multi-cultural employee base. I really enjoy working with and learning from colleagues with different background. My team is a perfect example - five of us, all with different nationalities and expertise. So it is really a pleasure to be working with a diverse and talented pool of individuals, where differentiating perspectives often drive us to make better and more holistic decisions.

What inspires you about working in the Strategy Department?

It’s all about our mission – supporting Constellium and our management to design a path to growth and profitability amidst competition and constant change. To do that, we need to understand not just our business but our industry as well as the business environment in order to identify both opportunities and threats. This is quite a daring (but awesome) challenge but I can’t think of a better job description.

What skills or past experiences do you think helped you become who you are at Constellium?

I think my experience as an investment banker helped as I was able to apply corporate finance, transactional and industry knowledge in this position. It also helped that I know how to drive a stick shift – very useful when I rent a car in Europe to see our plants!
