We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lead Engineer Digital Transformation (m/f/d).

In this position your focus will be on the 3 key elements of a Digital Transformation in the Industrial Engineering area:

1. Digitize our Knowledge 
2. Digitalize our daily work (processes)
3. Administer and Enhance our online Knowledge Management System

Your Challenges:

• Development and administration of the Automotive Structures system for knowledge management for manufacturing-technologies and -planning and for development systematics and standardization.
• Supporting the users of the system in all system-related matters (primary contact person for data protection, access rights and the software provider)
• Coordinating the creation of standards and guidelines for the planning, development and realization of machines, tools and systems as well as the comprehensive documentation of all relevant technologies and our manufacturing equipment
• This includes the creation of templates for use by our specialists as well as the own creation of documentation governed by your own area of expertise and the creation and cutting of meaningful videos
• Integration of current key performance indicators (KPIs) from production in our plants (MES data) as well as longterm production planning data to analyse plant utilization and strategic plant planning
• Collaboration with other specialist departments to use or expand the system in the direction of investment planning, production process planning (performance data creation), capacity and resource planning, cost accounting, logistics planning and for hosting and pursuing our risk management tools

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or master degree in engineering or other applied science field
• Detailed and concise writing skills with the strong ability to describe complex technical topics in an easy to understand manner (teaching skills)
• Experience in engineering systemic methods and tools (QFD, VA/VE, FMEA, DCP, SPC …) beneficial
• Experience with desktop publishing, multimedia production, online documentation software beneficial
• Experience with web coding and authoring systems, such as HTML, JavaScript or XML beneficial
• Perfect German and English in writing and speaking
• Strong affinity to database tools and advanced office applications
• Self motivating, hands-on mentality 
• Strong collaboration skills
• International Travel
