Constellium at the 2nd International Conference on Friction Stir Welding and Processing

Constellium will participate to the “Friction Stir Welding and Processing (FSWP) 2012” conference in Saint-Etienne, France.

The FSWP conference is a networking event gathering university, laboratories and industry researchers from various countries around recent advances in friction stir welding and related processes.

The second edition of the event is organized by St Etienne's Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs (National School of Engineers) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines (National School of Mines) and will take place on January 26-27 in Saint-Etienne France.

About Constellium’s participation

A recognized partner for co-developing advanced welding solutions with customers, Constellium will be represented by Julien Laye, expert in friction stir welding of aluminium, who will be holding a session on "Friction Stir Welding of Aluminium and Titanium" at 11.20 am on January 27th.

He is also mentioned as co-author of the “Effect of a change of chemistry on the microstructure of dissimilar 2050 friction stir welds” conference taking place at 4.10 pm on January 26th.
